EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS:
I haven't heard of anyone else doing this, but I have created a mixture that will transform your hair in one use. Seriously! I have notice the MOST DRAMATIC difference in my hair! It's softer, has fewer (not many) split ends, and is incredibly easy to brush through!!! Mix a palm full of Dove Intensive Repair conditioner with about a 1/4 teaspoon of Macademia Healing Oil Treatment, rub it together and coat your bottom half to ends of hair. Throw it up in a bun and continue your shower. The longer it sits in your hair the better, I'd do at LEAST 5 minutes. I swear on my life this is the greatest hair discovery ever. The oil is sort of expensive, so get the small bottle for $13.00 at ULTA and test this first. Eventually you'll love it and invest in the big bottle, but for now if you don't believe me, here's where to get it!!! I'm so in loveeeeeee

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-in Conditioner:
This isn't the best leave-in conditioner I've tried but it's good for detangling. After I put my hair in a towel and it dries a little i put this conditioner in, mostly focusing on the ends. Then I don't brush or comb it and I go to sleep. The next day when I wake up I can brush right through my hair with no problems. So right now I don't notice any split end repair or major softness, but it gets the knots out and makes it smoother.

Chi 44 Iron Guard/TRESemme Heat Tamer Spray:
I would ABSOLUTELY never use a heated tool on my hair without some form of heat protectant. My favorite is the Chi 44 iron guard. Spray it on dry hair and brush through before straightening and it will help prevent split ends. It obviously won't catch all of them but it will save you so much damage! It retails at $14 but it is always on sale at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. If you can't afford it I'd suggest the new Treseme Heat Spray which is I think $6. It gives off a much finer mist though which isn't necessarily good, i always feel like I have to spray forever with the Treseme heat spray to get my ends covered.

Redken SatinWear Blow-dry Lotion:
Blow dry hear protectants are just as important if not more than hot tool ones! Most girls don't realize the blow dryer puts so much heat on your hair and can cause breakage, especially if you brush it out right after. Comb wet hair, never brush it! Then add a blow dry lotion and use the warm heat setting never the hottest one. I love the Redken blow-dry lotion because it makes my hair brushable after blow-drying while protecting it and keeping it soft.
