Mask of Magnaminty:
Okay, so this could be my favorite Lush product so far. I'm pretty picky about what I put on my face. One day I was stressed out from school (what else is new) and I really wanted a refreshing mask that wouldn't break me out. I looked around and found mask of magnaminty. It claimed to exfoliate and draw out bacteria, and the mint would make your face tingle. I was pretty excited about this mask, so I went to buy it. I got the small size for $11.95; the large is $21.95. Here's how Lush describes the product:
I have to say, this mask burned slightly at first, maybe for about 3 minutes, but eventually it became very cooling. A little bit goes a long way too, so I really liked that. I let mine sit for 15 minutes until it dried then i rinsed my face in warms water, moving my hands in circles to scrub the aduki beans in a little. Afterwards, my face felt so soft, it was amazing! For such a stereotypical looking mask (bright green and chunky), I've never felt so refreshed. This mask is definitely worth the money. The Lush lady also recommend to store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, but I love this stuff so much it'll probably gone in one....
<- Am I embarrassing? Yes. Do I care? Nope.

Ocean Salt Cleanser:
Hallelujah I have found something from Lush that isn't just average!!! It's really important to keep skin exfoliated especially in the summer. I'm really into beachy things so I was really drawn to this cleanser. Here's the description:
The woman from Lush described it as a "margarita for your skin" aka... I was sold. I got the smaller container just so I wouldn't have a ton of it in case I wound up hating it. The small container is $19.95 and the big one is $34.95... needless to say, quite pricey. Although I think this stuff is worth it, it's hard to compete with exfoliants from the drugstore for $5-7. However, ordering the ocean salt cleanser is beneficial because it has so many natural ingredients like avocado, sea salt, lime, coconut, and vodka... that's natural right?!
Overall, this is probably a splurge item that's well worth the cost. I'd suggest getting the bigger container if you try the demo in store and like it because it's a better value. If I end up saving up my money instead of blowing it on everything I see, I'll definitely repurchase this!!

Tea Tree Toner Tab:
I heard tea tree oil is supposed to be amazing for your skin but even so, the idea of putting any type of oil on my skin freaks me out, even though i'm fully aware that this stuff is good! Yeah I'm crazy whatever. But this was really interesting because you drop this tab in boiling water and the steam cleanses your skin. Plus it's only $1.95 a tab so I was like hell yeah, I'm trying this out. This is how LUSH describes the product:
So I drop it in the boiling water, it fizzed up and turned the water green. That's about it. I felt refreshed after, but that's probably because of the steam alone. So I really don't know if this did much of anything. So I'm gonna try this one more time and see how it is, will be reporting back soon!!!

-"China clay and bentonite gel will pull the dirt from your pores, ground aduki beans and evening primrose seeds exfoliate surface skin cells, and peppermint oil will make you feel so fresh and minty that you'll forget you were ever grubby. Ground aduki beans remove dead skin cells when used on the skin as an exfoliating powder. They polish the skin, leaving it healthy and renewed"

Butterball Bath Bomb:
So I bought this bath bomb in December and I was really excited to use it because it's been #1 seller on their site for weeks. I was stressed out from school and I wanted to try one for the first time. Well, this was so boring for me. Most bath bombs from Lush supposedly do something great for your skin or have some big fizzing explosion. This didn't do either. It had no real smell to it and when it dissolved, all these little yellow things were floating on top of the water- hopefully it wasn't actual butter. If you rub them into your skin it feel like lotion, but you have to physically scoop them up and rub them in to get any moisturizing effect from this bath bomb. Not to mention all those little yellow things STICK TO YOUR TUB! I was overall pretty disappointed, but hopefully the next one I try will do a better job. So far Lush products are pretty hit or miss.

Ice Blue Soap:
I love this LUSH soap! It exfoliates with sea salt but smells like peppermint. In made my skin really soft and smell good!

Porridge Soap:
I don't really know how to describe this soap except for awkward hahaha! It smells great in the store, like cinnamon oatmeal and vanilla. But when you use it you smells citrus and cinnamon and the smells clash and almost make me feel sick! Not to mention it's full of oats which just fall out when you use it and make your shower floor look gross. It didn't exfoliate or moisturize my skin, it was just sort of average. I LOVE Lush but not this soap is just gross...
