I've always believed that drugstore mascaras are so good, as long as you know which ones to buy. Higher end mascaras can be crazy expensive-some more than $60. Lately, especially on youtube, I heard maybelline falsies mascara is such a great mascara, so I decided to try it out. I'm sorry to say- I HATE IT.
The formula is very thick and very flakey. The brush is not very good and it clumps your lashes together. Not to mention whatever doesn't flake off on your face is incredibly hard to wash off later. So I have found a few of the best drugstore mascaras that will beat out any fancy brand and any new catchy marketing scam!
Loreal Millionaire- This one is really good for length and separatuing out your lashes. I didn't like this one at first because it doesn't volumize that much, but with 2 or 3 coats it's really good. I think it was $9.
Maybelline One by One- This one is good for the same things as the Loreal one, except the brush is very flimsy rubber, so if you don't have a steady hand, it's likely you'll get mascara on your eyelid. I think this one was $8.
Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion- This one has always been one of my favorite mascaras. If you take your time, your eyelashes can look fake- it's so good! It's volumizing, separating, lengthening- borderline perfect! $9.
Tarte Multipleye- This one is high end but most definitely worth it. I still believe that some of these drugstore ones are almost as good, but if you feel like splurging on this amazing mascara, you can find it at sephora or tartecosmetics.com for $24

Loreal H.I.P Cream Eyeliner
I love this eyeliner! It stays on forever, probably 5 times longer than a stick liner. I haven't tried M.A.C fluid line (which is most likely better) but for me this works. You'll never run out, I've had mine for months, and it you go over your line with a black eyeshadow to set it, it will stay on FOREVER! Definitely a good drugstore liner, the brush sucks though it'll scratch your eye off. Invest in a good, soft angle brush.

Too Faced Enchanted Glamourland Palette
My sister gave me this palette from too faced that I'm absolutely in love with right now! It has incredibly pigmented shades and you can get so many looks out of it.
This palette comes with:
- A Bronzer in the shade Snow Bunny. It has 4 vertical stripes: white, brown, light pink, and light tan. It's an okay bronzer, it's very shimmery and has very golden metallic undertones.
- A blush in the shade La Vie en Rose which is a very bright shimmery pink
- A full sized Shadow Insurance Primer
- A Glamour Gloss in the shade Pillow Talk
- 15 eyeshadows that are all completely GORGEOUS, I was just confused as to why there's 4 shadows in the palette names exsclusive.
Every color in the palette is extremely wearable and good for all kinds of looks. The lip gloss smells like cake and is a good mauvey-nude color that I'm obsessed with. The lip gloss also has lip plumpling qualities that make your lips tingle.
Here are the swatches of the eyeshadows starting from the left: Ooh and aw (shimmery silver), Exclusive (shimmery plum), Glamazon (champagne shimmer), Exclusive (bright shimmery teal), In the Buff (matte white), Exclusive (Matte off-white), George & Weezie (shimmery white), Velvet Revolver (matte light brown), Honey Pot (shimmery golden honey), Teddy Bear (matte medium brown), Exclusive (shimmery bright purple), Boy Toy (shimmery hot pink), Peach Fuzz (glittery peach), Label Whore (a duo-chrome greenish, purpley, brown, my FAVORITE in the palette) and Stiletto (matte brown)
Top to bottom: Shadow Insurance, Pillow Talk Lip Gloss, Blush, Bronzer
Overall I think this palette is amazing! I need at least one color from it every day.

URBAN DECAY PRIMERS!
I LIVE BY URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTIONS!
- For your face: On nights where it's gonna be a long one, DEFINITELY apply a foundation primer! It'll keep everything in place, fill in pores/wrinkles, and smooth out your skin. I love the Urban Decay Pore-Perfecting Primer. As long as you don't use too much it's perfect, otherwise your face will feel greasy and heavy.
- For your eyes: Eye Primer Potion is bomb. You can literally sleep in your eye makeup and you'll wake up with it looking the same. It doesn't crease your eyeshadow and it provides a neutral base that conceals redness/eyeball veins. The primer also comes in the shade sin and it make a pretty champagne shimmery base as well but I'd suggest patting it on to get the color payoff, rubbing it in diminishes the shimmer.
- For your lashes: I do not put on mascara without Urban Decay Mascara primer, it will make it look like you have on fake eyelashes, i swear by this product it is 100% worth investing in! Your eyes especially look amazing if you curl them, add the primer, then a very black mascara!

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation
I've tried the plain mousse foundation- UHM NO. Hateddd it! But the liquid version ROCKS! I have shade Nude Beige Light 3.5, I think it goes for around $10 at drugstores. It fills in your skin and really makes your face flawless, for a drugstore foundation this is amazing. I've gone through like 5 bottles and it's my standard foundation when I don't have a nicer one. Goes best with the Dream Matte Powder to mattify your face because the foundation can make your face a little shiny.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner
The shade I have is in r.s.v.p and it's a really pretty champagne shimmer. I love this because it actually does it's job and is a great eyeshadow base that will not crease. This base color looks good for neutral looks especially shadows in Urban Decay's Naked Palette! I have the mini which sells for $10 on benefitcosmetics.com, at benefit stands in department stores, and Sephora. I would definitely invest in the mini's because they're cheaper and these bases last forever, so really you could just get a bunch of mini's in different colors instead and play around with them instead of spending $19 on a normal size one that you'll literally have for the LONGEST time. Overall this is a great product! Probably test colors in store before buying though!

My M.A.C Eyeshadows
I love MAC shadows but only own 7; here are my thoughts, go to maccosmetics.com for swatches
Jest: A really pretty peach with frosty shimmer. Can be used as a highlight but it's not really great for that, I think it looks best with brown when it's applied to the lid and a soft brown in the crease.
Sable: MY FAVORITE MAC SHADOW PERIOD. I'm on my second one, it's a soft metallic bronze-ish brown and it's the best :)
Haux: It's a rose-brown, it's very soft and blendable. Typically I wouldn't find myself going for that color because it doesn't really stand out but I'm so happy i bought it. It works so great for natural look and looks good with Jest!
Shale: I LOVE this color. It is a greyish plum purple and it makes great smokey eyes without being an in your face purple look, has a satin finish
Humid: Frosted mossy green; probably MAC's top pick of greens although I don't often find myself reaching for it. Good to have on hand though if you ever needed a green smokey eye. Mildew by Urban Decay is pretty much an exact dupe.
Moon's Reflection: Very frosted light blue, again don't reach for it that often but it look great on dark skin tones.
Deep Truth:MY SECOND FAVORITE MAC SHADOW! It's a frosted navy blue and it looks gorgeous on everyone. When it's applied wet it looks so great and you can get the best night time makeup looks with it. It's SUCH a beautiful color!
